Beach 2 min walk, town 10 min walk. Great views of the estuary and Mt Paku. About 5 spots. Can be a bit cramped of your between bog rigs but it's a great spot.

There are some yellow lines in the restricted freedom camping area. We parked there thinking it was no parking allowed during day but freedom camping by night allowed (we were between the arrows). Someone called the coucil to complain and they came to check in the morning. Luckily we didn't get fined as the coucil lady was nice and recognized the signs where confusing. But, she said you are not allowed to be on the yellow lines even if it's in the FC zone. So, its not 8 spots but only 6 left. Otherwhise, nice place, clean toilets, coverage, nice view, and not too much noise.
