Saw a sign with 60mins limit for campervan parking so not sure is that alright to overnight there. Drive to Anzac Parade Freedom Camping area instead of staying here for the night.

We have stayed here a few times now and each time has been great. There is new toilets that are open 24/7 or at least were when we were there. Very central to the town . Our go to spot when we come to town.

Compared to what the map says, the free spot has been moved (i think) because the map spot has the free toilets, but the car park is pay'n'park from the morning, so you can stay around the corner on the street where you have free spots for campers (orientate by 2 spots for 60 min campers during day time, same line). The spot is good, stayed there for 2 nights, which were completly different. First one was a quiet night, nobody came and went, just the SC staying the night, really good. The second.... Local youngsters coming there, parking right between the campers and blasting music and screaming until 1am at night, it was a tuesday evening.. So you'll never know what you'll get. Twoards the i-center, there's a drinking fountain where you can fill some water.
