Description
Designated freedom camping location. Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. Vehicles may only be parked in the designated camping area.
You may stay a maximum of two (2) consecutive nights.
Facilities at this location include toilets, drinking water, a dump point, picnic tables, bbq and playground.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.

With flush toilets and clean. Close to the beach and playground, also with some exercise equipments. One star less due to the view blocked by the bushes from the carpark. The rest are just excellent.

Awesome spot! Heaps of room for all size campers as long as people park wisely. There was about 10 campers all different sizes there and still room. Saturday market and food trucks at the pull out to grab some dinner. Road bikes up and down the beach and enjoyed the lovely scenery.
