Description
Freedom camping in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. You may stay 1 night only. This is a residential area. Please keep the noise to a minimum and be respectful of local residents.
Gravel parking area with grassed picnic area, overlooking the water. Toilets a short walk away.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.

Beautiful under rated area under some trees with a really nice sunrise in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay here and short trip into the town to get some nice locally baked goodies in the morning (cheese sticks). Would try and stay here again if passing through

Lovely little free camp. On the road, not busy at all, just opposite some houses and right on the beach, beautiful. Thanks to the council and the residents for allowing this as the surrounding areas are beautiful to visit. Make sure you respect it. We did a beach clean in the morning, took away someone else's bagged dog poo, yukky, but, we all share this place and this planet, so why not. Thanks! Find us on Instagram if you like @saltyskin
