Description
Freedom camping permitted in self-contained vehicles that clearly displays NZS5465:2001 certification. If you don't have a self-contained mobile home with this certification you will need to find a campground.
You can stay for a maximum of two nights per calendar month. You must park legally in the designated area only and comply with noise requirements.
There are 6 spaces available at Greerton Park. Freedom camping is only permitted 7pm Sunday 10am Friday only. No camping Friday and Saturday nights.

There's definitely people of the night in this area involved in drugs even on weekday nights like Monday. No harm or direct concerns but the park isn't great anyway it's just a sports club, but it is adequate.

Just a few changes in 2018, now there is a gate instaled open from 7am to 9:30pm. Toilets closed as usual at 7:30pm and new lines (blue instead yellow ones).

Spent two quiet nights here, gates locked at 9.30pm.Lots of locals doing whatever - didn't look too closely, but they didn't bother us.Great Rugby pitches to jog around (great to get back to some exercise)
