Description
Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. Vehicles to freedom camp only in the designated area.
Maximum stay of two consecutive nights, vacate designated site by 9am.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.

I'm Hungry
Was full when we got there around 6-7 pm last weekend. 8 spots we counted but people don't park properly so only 7 vehicles were there. It was a long weekend :p so expected to be full.

Huge area, shame they don't allow for more vans as many parked in front of each other. Toilets are a fair distance but the beach is just behind the camping area. Toilets are well lit at night.

very nice spot. no facilities but toilets (and BBQ) 2 minutes away. stay for 1 night, only 2 other vehicles. plenty of space, and very quiet.
