Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. You may stay a maximum of one night.
Please respect this site, it is a public spaces so please consider other users.
Dispose of all waste in facilities provided, or take it with you.
No fires, alcohol, tents or washing lines.
Park in a legal manner in formed parking areas without obstructing footpaths or access ways.
Self-contained vehicles must clearly display NZS5465:2001 certification.
Keep New Zealand clean, always use a public toilet or the one in your vehicle.

Security guy sent me to the second parking lot (next to the Kennedy Rd) because he was locking the gate on the 1st bigger one. Toilets beautiful, but closed with gate at 9.

Nice place 2 be. No need for a specific parking spot. A beautiful park :-) it's just allowed because you can stay in any non restricted area in Napier with a SC Camper Van. (See Napier Council Homepage) Toilets are open over night. Street is not too loud.

Tried to stay here but I was kicked out by security at 8pm ish. I was told I couldn't stay and had to go right away as they were locking the gate. Not a great thing to be told mid way though cooking dinner!
