10 minute walk to the heart of the city. The hostel is a bit old and carpets and duvets smell a bit, but is well maintained. Kitchen and living room are spacious and homey and they have all you need for a comfy stay. Clean facilities. Quiet and nice space. Overall recommend for a couple of nights in Palmerston North

The lady is not at all welcoming but after a few minutes, it got better and we even were upgraded to a double room for the price of the dorm. Facilities are goods and not too busy. It is also very close to the city center.

Old building with old interior, but good facilities and nice kitchen / dining area. Owner seemed to be a bit grumpy at first impression, but that got better. This is one of the less relaxed hostels, no cooking after 9pm, leave building immediately after checking out... But the place is for sale, so this may change with a new owner. Was very empty when I was there, just another young person and a few older ones.
