(Still) Almost exclusively long-term backpackers/workers staying there. Very relaxed. The lady at the reception spoke very limited English, and there was no sign of friendliness or even delight that a guest had arrived. Everything else in the hostel a bit below standard. Bring your own plates and cutlery!
