Legacy Data

To climb up the Tahurangi, you should book a guided walk. There are a lot of glaciers at the summit plateau, that's why crossing from the north makes it unsafe.

Legacy Data

2 options:1. you start hiking from the carpark. It takes you about 50mins to the café (poled route)2. you pay 35$ p.p. to take the ski lift. From here you can climb the Mt. Heueu (in summer conditions without ice axe). The route is poled from near the café. Higher it's getting unpoled, but there are many tracks you can follow.
