Description

Lion Rock is Piha's most iconic landmark, its profile from all angles, known nation-wide. Lion Rock sits between Piha and North Piha beaches. It is no longer possible to climb to the top of the rock, the trail now ends at a grassy shoulder on the rock. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
