This is a 10-bunk bunkroom associated with Whakahoro Campsite located in Whanganui National Park on the Whanganui Journey in the Whanganui region.
If you are using the bunkroom in connection with the Whanganui Journey you need to book your bunk bed using the online booking system. If you are not using it as part of the Whanganui Journey then the fee is $10.
This historic building has been converted into a bunkroom associated with the Great Walk campsite. It has bunks and mattresses but no heating or cooking facilities. Campers must use the nearby shelters to prepare meals.
