The "road" is terrible. Gravel road starts out alright enough but once you get past the first small ford then the second much bigger one there is lots of potholes and big rocks to dodge. Campground was also pretty busy off-season. Toilets ok. **definitely don't even attempt it if you have a campervan**

Nice site with access via gravel road. Numerous secluded grassed parking areas. Many hiking track starting from here with all the info for the mountain huts on the information board. Swing bridge just 3minutes walk and access to the river. Quiet, amazing scenery, toilets and water tap available. Fires allowed. Honesty box is at the info board. We were the only van in our camp area last night. *no phone signal

The road is a bit rough, but it is passable even with a low clearance vehicle. Flush toilets. Rain collection tank for drinking water. 200m walk down to the to river with great swimming holes, but very cold water. Plenty of campsites to choose from, but seems like it may get crowded on weekends and peak travel times. Cool swing bridge and hikes.
