We were there Friday night just before labour day long weekend. Lots of people partying and car's rapping their engines till after twelve. At 5.30 truck pulled in to empty clothing bin's lots of other noises. We were the only RV parked in the parking lot. There's no sign to say Freedom Camping. Apart from the noise we felt safe.

Seems ok , plenty of room as carpark empties out at the end of the working day so plenty of room to manoeuvre and park large vehicles, Super quiet we are here thursday night and there is no traffic noise whatsoever, its well lit as it is an urban area with a Countdown supermarket next door , plenty of places to buy food on the same street actually only 30 seconds walk. Toilets next door its ideal if you have to catch the Waiheke ferry next morning as the Halfmoon bay terminal is only 8 minutes drive away. Signs here say 180 min parking ignore those as that is for day time shoppers etc. Corners Moore street and Fencible drive.
