Description

Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. Large flat grassy area by Lake Maraetai. You may stay a maximum of three (3) nights. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet. Ensure your sewage and grey water holding tanks are discharged at designated wastewater dump stations located at Riverside Park, Two Mile Bay Boat (both in Taup), and Mata Place in Kinloch.
