Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY. Gravel and grassed area near the Rangitaiki River. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
