This spot is beautiful but pretty expensive as it costs 20dollar per person. It is a carpark with toilets and cold showers where you have to pay for hot water.

This campsite is a joke. 20$ per adult per night just to park and have free toilet. Have to pay in addition for showers and power plugs. Worked with kiwi cash, had a great experience with them in National Park close to Tongariro NP but definitely not recommend this one. Go to Willohaven Holiday Park : 40$ per night with full amenities.

This picturesque location is open but overnight camping is only between 6pm and 9am and costs an outrageous $20 per adult per night and $10 for each child. Smarter people camped for free after 9pm when the fee collector had gone. For this rip-off price you only get a strip of muddy ground in the carpark, toilets and cold showers. Better off paying $40 for a powered site right on the lake shore at the Willowhaven Holiday Park in Rotorua.
